BOTG policy.
An event by SistersNStoryland — Where Community, Culture & Creativity Meet.
Ticket & Registration Policy
All attendees must register under the correct ticket type. Entry will only be granted to registered and approved guests.
All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or transfers for tickets, vendor spaces, or sponsorships.
Please double-check your availability and ticket selection before purchase.
Arrival & Check-In
Please do not arrive early. Due to limited outside space, early guests may be asked to wait until doors officially open.
Entry begins at the designated start time listed on your ticket. Arriving at that time ensures smooth check-in and flow of traffic.
Bag & Cart Policy
In order to maximize space and minimize safety hazards, no rolling carts, wagons, or luggage will be allowed inside the venue.
Small bags, purses, and totes are permitted and may be subject to inspection.
Food & Beverage
Light food and drinks will be provided at select times during the event.
All refreshments are offered on a first come, first serve basis.
Outside food or drinks are not permitted, unless explicitly approved.
Parking Policy
Valet parking is available onsite. Self-parking may be limited depending on the venue and nearby areas.
We encourage ride sharing or carpooling when possible to ease congestion.
Age Requirement
This is an 18+ event due to content and crowd control.
Please do not bring children, as this is a space designed for adult book lovers to relax, vibe, and network freely.
Vendor & Author Guidelines
All authors and vendors must be approved prior to the event.
Set-up and breakdown times will be strictly enforced.
Vendor tables must be attended at all times. BOTG is not responsible for lost or unattended items.
Media Release
By attending BOTG, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional use by SistersNStoryland and affiliated media partners.
If you prefer not to appear in promotional content, please inform our media team at check-in.
Respect & Conduct
All attendees must respect themselves and others. BOTG is a community-centered space rooted in sisterhood, support, and love for Black literature and culture.
Harassment, bullying, or disrespect of any kind — toward guests, vendors, staff, or fellow attendees — will not be tolerated.
Anyone exhibiting disruptive or harmful behavior will be removed from the event without refund.
Keep the energy positive, respectful, and empowering
