Welcome to Books on the Ground (BOTG). By accessing, purchasing, or attending BOTG events, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Your purchase or attendance constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, including our Ticket Policy, Privacy Policy, and Code of Conduct.

2. Event Modifications

BOtG reserves the right to modify or adjust event programming at any time, including:

• Schedule changes

• Author or vendor cancellations

• Workshop/session adjustments

• Venue changes

These adjustments do not qualify for refunds or compensation.

3. Conduct & Removal

We maintain a safe, positive environment. BOTG may ask an attendee to leave without refund for:

• Harassment

• Threatening behavior

• Disruption of programming

• Disorderly conduct

• Violation of event rules

4. No Unauthorized Selling

Attendees may not:

• Sell books

• Promote personal products

• Host pop-up sales

• Distribute flyers

without prior approval.

5. Media Release

By attending BOTG, you consent to photography, filming, and recording. BOTG may use your likeness for:

• Social media

• Marketing material

• Event recaps

with no compensation owed.

6. Liability Disclaimer

By attending BOTG, you agree BOTG, its staff, its vendors, and the venue are not liable for:

• Injury

• Loss or theft of items

• Travel delays

• Property damage

• Emotional distress

Attend at your own risk.

7. Ticket Ownership

Tickets remain property of BOTG and can be revoked at any time due to policy violations.

8. No Outside Alcohol

Only beverages served or sold by the venue are permitted unless otherwise stated.

9. Force Majeure

BOTG is not responsible for cancellations or delays caused by:

• Weather

• Venue emergencies

• Government restrictions

• Acts of God

Tickets will automatically transfer to a new date.

Your purchase and attendance indicate acceptance of all terms outlined here.

3. CANCELLATION & TICKET TRANSFER FAQ

Are tickets refundable?

No. All sales are final.

Can I transfer my ticket?

At this time, BOTG tickets are non-transferable.

This protects limited VIP tiers and prevents unauthorized resales.

What if I can’t attend?

Your ticket is forfeited. We cannot offer refunds, credits, or rollovers.

Can I change my ticket tier?

Ticket tiers cannot be:

• Upgraded

• Downgraded

• Swapped

after purchase.

Can BOTG cancel my ticket?

Yes. Tickets may be revoked for violating event policies. No refund will be issued.

What if the event is postponed?

All tickets automatically transfer to the new date.

Will authors/vendors change?

Possibly. Author and vendor appearances may shift due to unforeseen circumstances.

No refunds will be issued.

Do I still get my items if I miss the pickup window?

Unclaimed swag or book box items are forfeited unless shipping was included in that tier.
